For anyone cleaning a 6 mm to .30 cal bore: the Tetra Gun ProSmith cotton patches in 6 mm to .30 cal, pack of 1200. These are the basic consumable of firearm maintenance: square cotton patches cut to suit the calibre, used on a jag or patch holder to carry solvent down the bore and to dry and oil it afterwards. Tetra sizes the patches so they fill the bore without jamming the rod.

The ProSmith line is Tetra Gun's range of rods, brushes, mops, jags and patches, sold in individual calibre sizes so you can build a kit for the guns you actually shoot rather than buying a generic set. Match the size to the bore and the job is done properly.
