The Howa HACT (Howa Actuated Controlled Trigger) is the two-stage match trigger fitted to current Howa 1500 rifles, and this is the unit to fit if your older Howa still has the single-stage trigger or you want a fresh factory trigger group.

Howa describes the HACT as delivering a consistent, crisp two-stage pull with a creep-free let-off and minimal over-travel, the trigger it credits for out-of-the-box sub-MOA performance. It is supplied as the complete trigger assembly for the Howa 1500 action. Fitting and pull-weight adjustment should be done by a gunsmith who will also check the safety function.
