The Warne Kimber M8400 2-piece Base is a low-profile steel mounting base designed for Kimber 8400 Mag and 8400 WSM (8-40 screws). It uses the Warne Maxima steel base design to provide a compact sightline while allowing the shooter to maintain a normal shooting position and, when paired with Warne Maxima QD Rings, to use open sights by looking over the top of the bases.

  • Steel Maxima base construction for increased strength and a low profile appearance.
  • Full-width recoil slot in each base to allow the recoil control keys of Warne Rings to achieve maximum bearing surface.
  • Modeled around the popular Maxima/we'ver-style design to provide versatility in mounting and sighting options.
  • Fits Kimber-8400 Mag and 8400 WSM using 8-40 screws.

Use this two-piece Maxima base to replace or upgrade existing mounts where a low-profile, steel base with full-width recoil slots is required for compatibility with Warne Maxima rings and to retain the ability to sight over the bases when open sights are needed.
