The VIXEN SX Counterweight 2.8kg is an essential telescope accessory designed specifically for Vixen telescope mounts. Crafted by Vixen, the renowned Japanese manufacturer of quality astronomical equipment since 1949, this precision-weighted counterbalance ensures your telescope maintains perfect equilibrium during observation sessions. At 2.8kg, it provides the optimal weight to balance heavier optical tubes and accessories on your mount, preventing strain on the drive motors and enabling smooth tracking of celestial objects. An indispensable addition for serious astronomers looking to enhance the performance and longevity of their Vixen SX mounting system.
