The Vanguard Endeavor XF 60A is a 15-45x60 angled spotting scope that balances long-range performance against price. Fully multi-coated optics and a phase-coated BaK4 roof prism give bright, high-contrast images through the zoom range, and the 60 mm objective keeps the scope compact for mobile glassing and travel.
The body is rubber-armoured magnesium alloy, nitrogen-filled, waterproof and fogproof. The angled eyepiece is more comfortable for long sessions on a tripod and easier to share. A built-in sunshield, extendable twist-out eyecup and large focus wheel make it easy to use in the field, and a padded raincoat with sling is included.

The 60A (15-45x60) is smaller and lighter at about 1,280 g and 351 mm long, which suits walking and travel. The 80A (20-60x80) adds reach and light-gathering for long-range and low-light use, at about 1,680 g and 381 mm.

First up - this case is not cheap - but worth every penny if you have a rifle you wish to keep well-protected...
A big, well-padded case with a super-soft internal microfibre to keep the rifle and gear scratch-free, this carry case has an ingenious system of movable velcro straps so you can customise how the rifle sits in the case, along with any accessories to be stored in there with it.
Additionally two large front zippable pockets are excellent for keeping spare parts and accessories in, and the main zips can have a padlock fed through their zip holes for added security.
This is a brilliant case and will keep everything absolutely in order including the scope on the rifle - and you also know its a good case when the store owner uses it himself... ;-) HIGHLY recommended.
Finally picked up - after a five-month PTA wait - my new Howa 1500 with the FDE MDT XRS chassis upgrade and a sweet new long range Nikko Sterling scope on as part of the deal. As always Aubrey and the folks at Magnum were top notch, helping me get the rifle sorted and offering me hints and tips on getting the best out of this new target shooting purchase, plus of course those essential new accessories to get the best out of the Howa. Even the best 22LR rifles can be fickle about the ammunition they need to run at their best.
My Anschutz MS54 shoots really tight groups with this stuff. And it’s not expensive…
