The Frankford Arsenal Universal Precision Case Trimmer brings the same technology used in the Platinum Series Case Prep and Trim Center into a drill- or drill-press-mounted tool that trims shouldered cases from 17 Remington up to 460 Weatherby Magnum. It uses collets that index off the case shoulder, so you don’t need caliber-specific pilots or shell holders.
- Universal collet system: one set of collets indexes off the case shoulder to fit a wide range of shouldered cases.
- No caliber-specific pilots or shell holders required, simplifying setup for multiple calibers.
- Works with a standard drill or can be mounted in a drill press for stationary trimming.
- Adjustable trim length: set the trimmer to the desired length before trimming.
Cases are fed by hand into the trimmer; with practice, the Universal Precision Case Trimmer can operate faster than traditional trimmers. The tool is intended for users who want a drill-mounted trimming solution that covers a broad range of shouldered case sizes without swapping caliber-specific pilots or holders.
