The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Rimfire Target is a bolt-action .22 LR built around a heavy 50.8 cm (20") straight-taper barrel, threaded 1/2x28, in a reinforced polymer target stock (black) styled on the centrefire Model 2020 Waypoint.

The free-floated barrel carries a 1" three-shot accuracy guarantee at 50 yards (45.7 m). An adjustable Remington 700-style trigger, extended magazine release and 10/22 magazine compatibility make it a strong rimfire target and small-game rifle.
