The Sierra 8805 is a 230 grain 45 calibre (.4515) Sports Master jacketed hollow point, a handgun bullet for hunters, silhouette and target shooters loading for the 45 ACP and 45 Colt. The 230 grain #8805 was designed primarily for the 45 ACP and shares the hollow point design of Sierra's 9mm and 10mm JHPs; it also works in the 45 Auto Rim and 45 Colt.

Sports Master bullets use Sierra's skived Power Jacket over a lead core, which opens reliably at handgun velocities while holding together for penetration; they are a sound choice for handgun hunting, silhouette and general target work in revolvers, pistols and pistol-calibre rifles.
