Sierra's #2240 is a heavy .30 calibre (.308 in) 220 grain MatchKing hollow point boat tail. This bulk pack holds 500 bullets.
With a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.629, it suits long-range target work, where the MatchKing design's flat trajectory and resistance to crosswinds pay off. It is a target bullet and not recommended for most hunting.
Key Features
- High ballistic coefficient – A G1 BC of 0.629 helps retain velocity at long range.
- MatchKing accuracy – The MatchKing design gives a flat trajectory and consistent accuracy.
- Wind resistance – Low sensitivity to crosswinds at all ranges.
- Target use only – Not recommended for most hunting: MatchKing bullets will not expand as reliably as lightly jacketed varmint bullets.
