Sierra's #2190 is a .30 calibre (.308 in) 150 grain MatchKing hollow point boat tail, supplied 100 to a box.
It was first designed for 300 m international matches. It was introduced in the late 1950s and first used in major competition at the 1959 Pan American Games. It is a target bullet and not recommended for most hunting.
Key Features
- International match heritage – Developed for 300 m international competition and in use since the late 1950s.
- MatchKing accuracy – The MatchKing design gives a flat trajectory and consistent accuracy.
- Wind resistance – Low sensitivity to crosswinds at all ranges.
- Handgun silhouette – Used in strong single-shot handguns for silhouette and long-range target shooting.
- Target use only – Not recommended for most hunting: MatchKing bullets will not expand as reliably as lightly jacketed varmint bullets.
