The Redding Neck Sizing Die for the 260 Remington Improved 40° sizes only the neck of the case and is popular with precision handloaders working with brass fired in their own rifle. It is assembled with a decapping rod assembly and neck sizing button.

Neck sizing dies are not designed to adjust shoulder position, and neck-sized cases may not chamber in other firearms of the same calibre. Carbide neck size button kits are available separately for most Redding neck sizing dies.
