The Pixfra SIRIUS HD Thermal Monocular OLED 50mm Pix 1280x1024 Dis 1920x1080 is out of stock at every supplier we deal with. These are in stock or available to order now.
The Pixfra Sirius HD SA50 is a high-resolution thermal monocular with a 1280 x 1024 vanadium-oxide sensor (12 μm, ≤18 mK NETD) and a 50 mm F1.0 lens. The large sensor gives a wide 17.2° field of view at 1.72x base magnification, with Pixfra quoting 2,600 m detection.
Pixfra's PIPS 2.0 processing optimises digital zoom, noise reduction, image stability and detail, and the picture is shown on a 0.49-inch 1920 x 1080 OLED. It records to 64 GB, links to the Pixfra Outdoor app and runs on a replaceable 18650 battery in an IP67 body.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the SA50 compare with the SA70D?
Both use the 1280 x 1024, ≤18 mK sensor, 1920 x 1080 OLED, 64 GB storage and 18650 power (about 4.5 h). The SA50 has a fixed 50 mm F1.0 lens (1.72x, 2,600 m detection, 544 g) and is the lighter, more compact option; the SA70D has a 35/70 mm dual-field lens (1.21x/2.41x, up to 3,600 m detection) with F0.92-F1.1 aperture, but is larger and heavier at 908 g.
How far can it actually see?
Pixfra's datasheet quotes 2,600 m detection, 662 m recognition and 331 m identification. Detection range is the distance at which the sensor can pick up a heat signature of a standard-sized target; at that range you see a warm spot, not a recognisable animal. Recognition and positive identification happen much closer, and real-world results also depend on humidity, rain, fog and target temperature.
How long does the battery last?
Pixfra quotes 4.5 h at 25 °C with Wi-Fi off on one replaceable 18650 battery, so carry spares for a long night.
Does it connect to a phone app?
Yes. The Sirius HD has a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and works with the free Pixfra Outdoor app (iOS and Android), which Pixfra lists for live viewing and controlling key device functions.
