The PENTAX PF-65ED II is a straight-view spotting scope with a 65mm objective incorporating ED (extra-low dispersion) glass to control colour fringing and deliver a sharp, high-contrast image. It is supplied without an eyepiece and accepts any 31.7mm (1.25in) eyepiece, including the Pentax XF and XW series and the 8–24mm zoom.

Suitable for birdwatching, nature observation, spotting at the range and even astronomy, the scope can be configured with fixed or zoom eyepieces to suit the task.
