The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber (SRMB – suppressor ready with muzzle brake) is the premium lightweight hunting model in the X-Bolt 2 range. It combines a carbon-fibre-wrapped stainless barrel from Preferred Barrels, a Tungsten Cerakote finish and an OVIX camo Vari-Tech composite stock.

This X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber model is chambered in 7mm Rem Mag – a classic flat-shooting magnum for deer across open country. It has a 660 mm (26") barrel and holds 3 rounds in the detachable magazine, with a weight of 3.32 kg.

  • Carbon-fibre-wrapped barrel – A Preferred Barrels stainless blank, button rifled and stress relieved, is wrapped (not sleeved) in carbon fibre for stiffness with reduced weight.
  • Recoil Hawg muzzle brake – Fitted to 5/8"-24 suppressor-ready threads, with a thread protector supplied.
  • Tungsten Cerakote finish – Protects the action and barrel better than traditional bluing or bare stainless steel.
  • Vari-Tech stock in OVIX camo – Adjustable comb, length of pull and grip angle, with OVIX camouflage that blends into a wide range of terrain.
  • DLX three-lever trigger – No creep, take-up or overtravel, factory set at 3.5 lb (1.6 kg) and adjustable down to 3.0 lb (1.4 kg).
  • Spiral-fluted bolt – Extended bolt handle with an ergonomic new knob for fast, positive cycling.
  • Inflex recoil pad – A 32 mm (1-1/4") Inflex pad for added comfort with magnum loads.
  • Bedded action, free-floated barrel – Bedding at the recoil lug and action screws for consistent accuracy.
