The Browning X-Bolt 2 Micro is a compact, lightweight version of the X-Bolt 2 with a shorter barrel and a smaller-framed Vari-Tech stock. It is designed for smaller-statured shooters, younger hunters, people wearing bulky clothing, and anyone who wants a handy rifle for stalking in thick country.

This X-Bolt 2 Micro model is chambered in .308 Win – a proven choice for deer and pigs. It has a 508 mm (20") barrel and holds 4 rounds in the detachable magazine, with a weight of 3.06 kg.

  • Compact Vari-Tech stock – Length of pull starts at 327 mm (12-7/8") and adjusts out to 352 mm (13-7/8"), with adjustable comb and interchangeable grip modules.
  • Shorter, lighter barrel – The barrel is 51 mm (2") shorter than standard X-Bolt 2 models for easier handling and less weight.
  • Suppressor-ready threading – 5/8"-24 muzzle thread with radial muzzle brake fitted and a thread protector supplied.
  • DLX three-lever trigger – No creep, take-up or overtravel, factory set at 3.5 lb (1.6 kg) and adjustable down to 3.0 lb (1.4 kg).
  • Redesigned X-Bolt 2 action – Extra bolt guidance surface and an ergonomic new bolt handle for smooth cycling.
  • 25 mm Inflex recoil pad – A thinner 1" pad allows the short minimum length of pull while still reducing recoil.
  • Proven X-Bolt controls – Detachable rotary magazine, top-tang safety with bolt unlock button, 60° bolt lift and X-Lock scope mounting.
