The Ares HLR is Athlon's lightweight hunting riflescope family. A one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube keeps weight down while staying rugged, the scope is argon purged for waterproof and fogproof performance, and an illuminated etched-glass reticle gives fast aiming in changing light.

This model is the 2.5-15x42 with the APRS-H2 illuminated reticle in the second focal plane, with MIL adjustments, built on a 30 mm tube.

Key Features

  • Second focal plane reticle: stays the same size through the zoom range
  • Illuminated APRS-H2 reticle with adjustable brightness
  • Side parallax adjustment from 10 yds (9 m) to infinity
  • Argon purged for waterproof and fogproof performance
  • Fully multi-coated lenses reduce reflections and improve light transmission
  • Waterproof, sealed against moisture, dust and debris
  • Precision zero stop
