The Tex-Rex is AirForce's high-pressure evolution of the Texan big bore. This .510 rifle is CNC-machined in Texas and runs a 500cc carbon-fibre bottle at up to 4500 psi (310 bar), delivering over 1100 ft-lb through a 34 inch Lothar Walther barrel.

Like the Texan it is a straightforward single-shot design, with a Picatinny optics rail, 11mm dovetail accessory rails, a manual safety and an adjustable two-stage trigger. Interchangeable bias port screws allow the rifle to be tuned for maximum power or extra efficiency.
