Pulsar thermal imaging optics at Magnum Sports

Pulsar thermal imaging scopes, monoculars and binoculars, including the Thermion and Telos ranges. Pulsar has been building civilian thermal longer than almost anyone and the current generation is known for image processing that holds detail in poor contrast, solid build quality and a mature software platform with stream and record functions.

      Choosing a Pulsar

Scanning and detection is a job for a handheld monocular, which is faster to use and easier to share around a vehicle. A dedicated thermal riflescope replaces your day optic and is the simplest setup if you shoot at night regularly. Match the objective lens to your country: 25mm for close scrub, 35mm for general pest control, 50mm and up for open ground and longer identification ranges. LRF models add one-press ranging with a ballistic solution, which matters more the further out you shoot.

All Pulsar units sold here are genuine Australian stock with full manufacturer warranty. Come in to Roseville Chase and look through one before you buy.

      Common questions

Which Pulsar thermal scope is best for pigs and foxes?
The Thermion 2 in a 35 or 50 mm lens suits most properties; add LRF if you shoot beyond 200 metres. The Trail 3 LRF XQ50 ($4,299) is a compact alternative, and the Thermion 2 LRF XL60 ($7,999) is the long-range choice.
      Pulsar monocular: Axion or Telos?
The Axion Compact is pocket-sized and suits close country and walking; the Telos has a larger lens and higher resolution for open paddocks, and LRF versions read the range.
Do I need a licence to buy a Pulsar?
No. Pulsar thermal scopes and monoculars are not licensed items in Australia and ship Australia-wide.
