Buying 7mm PRC Ammunition in Australia

Magnum Sports lists 15 7mm PRC loads, and 7 can be ordered today. Federal and Hornady have the most choice, with Remington, Norma and Barnes also listed. The 7mm PRC is Hornady's long-action Precision Rifle Cartridge, designed around long, high-ballistic-coefficient bullets; in Australia it is chosen for long-range hunting of larger deer and for long-range target work. Bullets run from 154 to 180 grain, mostly polymer-tipped and copper hunting designs.

Ammunition can only be sold in NSW to a holder of a licence or permit for a firearm of that calibre, so we sight your licence at the counter; 7mm PRC rifles are Category B. Every load is collected from our Roseville Chase store and none is posted or couriered. You can order online to have it put aside.

The lowest listed box is Remington 175gr Premier Long Range at $109 (on order); in stock, Hornady 180gr ELD Match starts at $113 and Hornady 175gr ELD-X at $116. The median box is about $140, and Barnes 160gr LRX tops the range at $245.
