About MDT

MDT was started in British Columbia by a machinist and competitive rifle shooter, and its first TAC21 chassis for the Remington 700 set the pattern for what followed: V-block bedding, drop-in installation with no gunsmithing, and parts that bolt together so a rifle can change with the shooter. The company still designs and manufactures in Canada.

Today the range covers hunting stocks such as the Field Stock, TIMBR CORE and HNT26 carbon chassis, competition chassis including the ACC Premier GEN2, ACC Elite and ORYX, the LSS and XRS families, metal and polymer AICS magazines, CKYE-POD and GRND-POD bipods, scope bases, rings, grips, weights and shooting bags. Most chassis and stocks are made for the actions Australians actually own, including Tikka T3x, Howa 1500, Remington 700 and clones, Savage and Ruger American.

We stock MDT because it is the easiest way to lift a factory rifle's accuracy and fit without a custom build. Stocks, chassis and accessories need no licence to buy; magazines require a valid firearms licence. Talk to us in store at Roseville Chase about which inlet suits your action, and we can order any configuration in the MDT catalogue.
