The new Guide TJ650 thermal monocular surpasses its predecessors with groundbreaking thermal innovation and technology. It is equipped with a powerful 640x512, 12‚â≠´m sensor which produces high-quality thermal images with excellent detail, allowing target objects to stand out amongst all the information. The sensor also has a powerful NETD of <20mK, which ensures a clear distinction of heat signatures between the object and the background, increasing the chances of detection. It also allows the monocular to perform flawlessly in tough conditions such as heavy rain and dense fog.
The TJ650 has a sleek cylindrical design which makes for a comfortable hold as well as the ability to access the control buttons more easily. It also has a built-in LRF which can accurately detect objects up to 1000 meters away. Moreover, this IR device has a new AMOLED 1920x1080 pixel display screen at 50Hz, which shows high-quality images with vibrant colors, significantly enhancing the observing experience.

First up - this case is not cheap - but worth every penny if you have a rifle you wish to keep well-protected...
A big, well-padded case with a super-soft internal microfibre to keep the rifle and gear scratch-free, this carry case has an ingenious system of movable velcro straps so you can customise how the rifle sits in the case, along with any accessories to be stored in there with it.
Additionally two large front zippable pockets are excellent for keeping spare parts and accessories in, and the main zips can have a padlock fed through their zip holes for added security.
This is a brilliant case and will keep everything absolutely in order including the scope on the rifle - and you also know its a good case when the store owner uses it himself... ;-) HIGHLY recommended.
Finally picked up - after a five-month PTA wait - my new Howa 1500 with the FDE MDT XRS chassis upgrade and a sweet new long range Nikko Sterling scope on as part of the deal. As always Aubrey and the folks at Magnum were top notch, helping me get the rifle sorted and offering me hints and tips on getting the best out of this new target shooting purchase, plus of course those essential new accessories to get the best out of the Howa. Can't recommend the team highly enough - they genuinely listen and offer the best advice from their years of experience...
Even the best 22LR rifles can be fickle about the ammunition they need to run at their best.
My Anschutz MS54 shoots really tight groups with this stuff. And it’s not expensive…

These are the best projectiles. My lithgow 102 topped with a leupold 6HD 4-24 scope with the custom dial is set for these projectiles. I shoot nothing else. They are accurate enough to out shoot others at the range and I can confidently drop a deer out to 400 odd meters with one shot. Highly recommended projectiles
