6mm Creedmoor Ammunition

Buying 6mm Creedmoor Ammunition in Australia

Magnum Sports lists 19 6mm Creedmoor loads, and 12 can be ordered today. Hornady has nearly half the range, alongside Federal, Remington, Barnes, Berger, Norma and Sellier & Bellot. The 6mm Creedmoor is a mild-recoiling short-action cartridge popular for precision rifle and long-range target shooting, and it is also used on foxes, goats and lighter deer. Bullets here run from 80 to 112 grain, spanning varmint, match and hunting designs.

Under NSW law we can only sell ammunition to a holder of a licence or permit for a firearm of that calibre, and we sight the licence at the counter. 6mm Creedmoor rifles are Category B. All ammunition is collected from the Roseville Chase store and is never posted or couriered; ordering online lets you have it set aside for pickup.

The entry load is Sellier & Bellot 100gr SP at $53, with Hornady 105gr BTHP Black at $64. A typical box is about $95, and the top of the range is $125 for Berger 109gr Long Range Hybrid Target in stock and $128 for Barnes 95gr LRX on order.
