.25 Air Pellets

Buying .25 Air Pellets in Australia

Magnum Sports lists 13 lines of .25 air rifle pellets and slugs, and 11 are available today. JSB Match Diabolo, H&N, RWS, Diana, Gamo and Predator are all represented. The .25 is the heaviest of the common air rifle calibres and is used for rabbits, hares and other vermin where a heavier pellet or slug carries more energy than .177 or .22.

Air rifles are Category A in NSW. A NSW dealer may only sell ammunition to a person holding a licence or permit for a firearm of that calibre, so Magnum Sports sights your licence at the counter. Air pellets count as ammunition, so they are collection only from our Roseville Chase store and are never posted or couriered. Order online and we will set them aside.

Prices run from $13 for H&N Baracuda (150 pack) to $50 for Predator Polymag, and the typical tin costs about $27.

For hunting with a pre-charged rifle, JSB Exact King and Exact King Heavy MKII are proven domed pellets, and the JSB Knockout Slug MK2 or the H&N Slug HP Sampler suit rifles set up for slugs. The H&N sampler is a good way to find what your barrel prefers. Gamo Hunter and H&N Baracuda are the economical choice for practice.
