sierra-2121-30-125gr-hollow-point-match
Sierra 2121 .30 125gr Hollow Point Match

For the 300 AAC Blackout and lighter 30 calibre loads, the Sierra #2121 125 grain 30 calibre (.308) MatchKing is a proven closed-nose hollow point that competitive shooters have relied on for years. The 125 grain #2121 is a flat-base hollow point designed with AAC and Remington for the 300 AAC Blackout in AR-platform rifles, and it has proved just as accurate in bolt actions and other mid-velocity 30 calibre chamberings.

MatchKing jackets are drawn thin and held to very tight concentricity, with a small hollow point meplat that keeps weight and balance consistent from bullet to bullet. The closed-nose (CN) versions get a final pointing operation that closes the meplat for a higher ballistic coefficient than the standard open tip. They are a target design: Sierra does not recommend MatchKings for most hunting, and on varmints they will not open as reliably as the lighter-jacketed VarmintKing and BlitzKing bullets. Sierra introduced this bullet in 2012.

Specifications

Brand: Sierra Bullets

Sierra product number: 2121

Product line: MatchKing

Bullet type: Hollow Point - Closed Nose (HP-CN)

Diameter: 0.308 in

Weight: 125 grains

G1 ballistic coefficient: 0.349

Material: Jacketed lead core

Box quantity: 100
