sierra-1628-25-100gr-hollow-point-bo-at-tail
Sierra 1628 .25 100gr Hollow Point Boat Tail

For the 25-06, 257 Roberts and other quarter-bores, the Sierra #1628 100 grain 25 calibre (.257) MatchKing is a proven hollow point boat tail that competitive shooters have relied on for years. The 100 grain #1628 brings MatchKing weight control and jacket concentricity to the quarter-bores and suits the 25-06, 257 Roberts Improved, 257 Weatherby Magnum and 1:10 twist 250 Savage.

MatchKing jackets are drawn thin and held to very tight concentricity, with a small hollow point meplat that keeps weight and balance consistent from bullet to bullet. They are a target design: Sierra does not recommend MatchKings for most hunting, and on varmints they will not open as reliably as the lighter-jacketed VarmintKing and BlitzKing bullets.

Specifications

Brand: Sierra Bullets

Sierra product number: 1628

Product line: MatchKing

Bullet type: Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT)

Diameter: 0.257 in

Weight: 100 grains

G1 ballistic coefficient: 0.394

G7 ballistic coefficient: 0.191

Material: Jacketed lead core

Box quantity: 100
